SGS tested the submitted silk fabric after 20 washes using AATCC TM100-2019. The following reductions were measured against the viability control at 24 hours.

Silver-ion antibacterial finishing adds a functional treatment to the silk fabric used for pillowcases. Applied as a post-finishing process, it brings antibacterial performance to a mulberry silk base while the product is developed around the smooth touch, natural luster and drape of silk.
The 2026 SGS report records antibacterial activity and a silver content of 12 mg/kg in the submitted silk fabric after 20 washes. For custom silver-ion silk pillowcases, the silk weight, color and finishing requirements are confirmed together during sampling. A physical sample lets buyers review the finished fabric before approving the production specification.
A custom mulberry silk pillowcase starts with the fabric weight, size and color. Standard, queen, king and custom sizes can be specified to suit the target market. Silk momme is selected around the desired handfeel and product position; the fabric in the current SGS test report is 25 momme mulberry silk.

SGS report SL52615326903901TX, dated July 6, 2026, records 99.3% reduction for Klebsiella pneumoniae ATCC 4352 and 99.5% for Staphylococcus aureus ATCC 6538 after 20 washes under the stated procedure. AATCC TM100-2019 results compare the tested fabric with the viability control after 24 hours. The submitted sample was black 25 momme, 100% mulberry silk fabric. Results are sample-specific; the report does not establish performance after 50 washes.
The product direction uses silver-ion post-finishing applied to the silk fabric, rather than blending metallic silver yarn into the silk. Confirm the finishing system and application details on the approved sample and material specification.
The aim is to retain the smooth touch and natural luster of silk. Review handfeel, shade, drape and odor on a physical sample before approval, because the base fabric, dyeing and finishing route all affect the final result.
